Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: July 31, 2026

Last Updated: July 21, 2016

Welcome to Skyraider. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to our website, purchase of products, and use of our services.

By accessing our website or placing an order for any knives, tools, firearms, firearm frames, components, or accessories, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. General Provisions & Legal Age Requirements

  • Entity & Location: Skyraider USA is registered and operates out of Mesa, Arizona, USA.

  • Age Declarations: * You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase knives, tools, standard firearm parts, or long guns (where applicable by law).

    • You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase handguns, stripped frames, receivers, or 1911 DS platforms.

  • Legal Compliance: By placing an order, you certify that all items ordered are legal for you to purchase, receive, and possess in your state, county, city, and local jurisdiction. We reserve the right to cancel any order originating from or shipping to a jurisdiction that restricts or prohibits specific items.

2. Firearm & Frame Sales (FFL Requirements)

  • Federal Firearms License (FFL) Transfer: All completed firearms, receivers, and stripped or serialized frames must be shipped directly to a valid, licensed FFL dealer. We will not ship firearms or frames directly to end-user retail addresses.

  • FFL Documentation: A current, legible copy of your receiving dealer’s FFL must be provided and verified by us prior to shipment. It is the customer's responsibility to arrange the transfer with their designated FFL dealer.

  • Split Shipments: If your order contains a combination of serialized components (firearms/frames) and non-serialized items (knives, scales, bit holders, small parts), the non-serialized items may ship separately from the serialized firearm components.

  • Background Checks & Fees: The buyer is responsible for all transfer fees, background check fees, and local taxes assessed by their receiving FFL dealer. If a background check is denied or you are legally unable to take delivery of the firearm/frame, the item will be returned to us, and any return processing will be subject to our standard restocking fees and shipping deductions.

3. Export Controls & International Trade (ITAR / EAR)

  • U.S. Export Law Compliance: Products sold by Skyraider USA—including specific tactical knives, firearm parts, optical mounts, and firearm accessories—may be controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

  • No Unauthorized Export: You explicitly agree that you will not export, re-export, or transfer any restricted products or technical data outside the United States without prior written authorization from the appropriate U.S. Government authorities.

  • Domestic Sales Only: Unless otherwise explicitly approved in writing by Skyraider USA, all firearm and regulated accessory sales are restricted to domestic U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

4. Sales Tax & Arizona TPT Obligations

  • In-State Sales (Arizona Shipments): Skyraider USA operates out of Mesa, Arizona. Under Arizona's origin-based transaction privilege tax rules, all orders delivered within the State of Arizona are subject to the combined State, Maricopa County, and City of Mesa Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) rate, regardless of the buyer's local municipality inside Arizona.

  • Out-of-State Sales: Orders shipped to delivery addresses outside the State of Arizona are exempt from Arizona TPT. State and local sales taxes for other destinations will only be charged where required by economic nexus laws or local tax regulations.

5. Modular Components, Precision Parts, & Installation Disclaimer

  • Modular Designs: Certain Skyraider products (such as SRK-1 knives, interchangeable scales, 1911 DS grips, and hardware) are modular. Users must follow proper assembly instructions and use appropriate hand tools (e.g., proper Torx drivers or armorers' tools).

  • Gunsmithing & Installation: Minor fitting may be required on custom firearm components or 1911 DS frames. Installation by a qualified, competent gunsmith is strongly recommended.

  • Limitation of Fitting Damage: Skyraider USA is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, overtightening, stripped screws, forced fitting, cross-threading, or modifications made using incompatible third-party parts. Altering or filing serialized parts or custom components voids any applicable product warranty or return eligibility.

6. Shipping, Delivery, & Address Fees

  • Carrier Risk of Loss: Risk of loss and title for all shipments pass to the customer upon delivery of the package to the shipping carrier (UPS, FedEx, or USPS).

  • Address Correction Fees: Customers must ensure their shipping address is accurate and complete at checkout. If a carrier assesses an address correction or rerouting fee due to an incomplete or incorrect address provided by the customer, you agree to be billed for this fee (typically $11.00 to $20.00+ per package) in addition to standard shipping charges.

7. Returns, Refunds, & Cancellations

  • Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or refund any order or refuse service to any individual or entity at our discretion.

  • For more detials please see our "RETURN POLICY" page

8. Safety, Liability, & Intellectual Property

  • Product Safety: Knives and firearms are inherently dangerous tools. By purchasing from Skyraider USA, you assume full responsibility for safe handling, storage, operation, and maintenance.

  • Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skyraider USA, its officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from product misuse, negligence, unauthorized modifications, or illegal possession.

  • Intellectual Property: All logos, graphics, brand names ("Skyraider", "Skyraider Precision", "Skyraider Knives", "SRK-1"), photography, and designs are the exclusive property of Skyraider USA and protected under U.S. copyright and trademark laws.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without giving effect to conflict of law principles. Any legal dispute or court action arising under these Terms must be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
